We have a big announcement - we have secured the date and location for Disability Comic Con 2025. We are thrilled to host the event at a location that embodies the spirit of inclusivity-the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8790. This post, which has recently undergone a renovation, offers ample space for us to celebrate popular culture, host guest panels, provide a decompression room, and ensure accessibility with an elevator and ramps.
The abundance of parking spaces and outdoor activity areas further enhance the inclusivity of our event. We are excited to have you join us at this accessible location, where we will be celebrating Disability Comic Con 2025, a place where heroes reside on April 26th, 2025.
We always enjoy reading feedback, concerns, or suggestions to make any of our events better. Our goal is to continue to provide a safe space for those with invisible and visible disabilities while celebrating pop culture.
Looking for Speakers
We are currently looking for speakers for Disability Comic Con 2025 to discuss pop culture and disability. If you are interested in being a speaker contact us by email at disabilitycomiccon@gmail.com and provide us with information about you, a description of your topic, if you have a disability or you're a disability advocate, and accommodations that you may need. Speakers will be decided by the committee and will receive a travel and speaking fee.
Please continue to help us spread the word and raise funds to cover our event fees. Your support can be through word of mouth, a share, a monetary donation, or volunteerism. We appreciate it all and look forward to sharing more updates with you as we make Disability Comic Con 2025 even bigger and better to match our new theme—Disability Comic Con 2025, Where the Heroes Reside.
